Task:
- Analyse incidents, identify the root cause and resolve or escalate appropriately
- Perform regular maintenance tasks
- Raising change request and implementing system changes
- Irregular work on weekend for releases and disaster recovery tests
- Regular system readiness test on Sundays shared within the team (every 4-5 weeks)
- Small enhancements or infrastructure related projects
- Work in a shift to cover 7 am to 6:30 pm
- Writing scripts and database queries to extract data and to develop tools

Requirements (Must have):

Business Skills:
- Understanding of different security classes
- Basic understanding of the different bank departments

Technical Skills:
- Writing SQL queries against complex database schemata
- Shell scripting
- Basic Perl scripting
- UNIX: Analysing logs, editing files.
- Implementing changes using pre defined methods

- Fluent verbal and written English is a must. German is not required

Nice to have:
- Repo
- Fixed Income
- Securities Lending
- Equities

- Ticketing software like Remedy, ServiceNow, CA Unicenter
- Middle ware experience (Tibco/RV, MQ, SmartSockets, 29West etc)
- Experience with job scheduling software AutoSys, Tivoli, Control-M etc.
- System and application monitoring software like NetCool, OpenView
- Martini
- Anvil
- ION MarketView

Environment/Miscellaneous:
1st & 2nd level support of in-house developed and 3rd party applications for securities lending and Repo trading. The applications are used to price and capture trades including the full lifecycle management. Trades are either manually entered or feeding in from ECNs. The downstream systems are settlement, risk, P&L and systems among others.
