A device test engineer is required on a contract basis working by a global telecom services and solutions organisations to work in Dusseldorf, Germany. This is an urgent requirement so if you want to be considered, please send your CV ASAP.
German language skills will be a big advantage although other candidates will also be considered
Below skills are required:
Mandatory Skills:
* At least 2 years SQA/field trial experience within mobile telecommunications sector
* Solid understanding of network protocols conformance testing
* Good experience of bearer testing from OEM perspective
* Proven experience in Mobile Device Testing (IOT & GCF)
* Knowledge of 2G/3G, GSM, GPRS, UMTS, HSDPA and HSUPA cellular technologies.
* Experience of Field Test, Customer Acceptance and Operator support.
* Experience of Battery Life and Stability testing
* Experience of capturing phone logs that enable Engineering team to develop a detailed understanding of the products performance
Desirable Skills:
* Knowledge of different Mobile Operating Systems - Android, Windows etc
* Hands on testing experience of Radio, UI, Email, SMS, MMS, Connectivity, Browser, Content, Streaming, DRM, Web portal application, Bluetooth, Modem, Wi-Fi, Gadget, Video Telephony etc.
