Manning Global currently is looking for a Project Manager to freelance work for one of our international clients from the IT/Telecoms in a 3 months project in Cologne, starting within the next few weeks. There is a high potential to project extension.
The role includes the organization of a web-interface set-up, Front End and Back End, in order to facilitate end-customers to assign to our clients services. In this early project stage you will support elaborating the project structure, you will evaluate relevant quotes from system providers, you will help to select the right web designer and architect to elaborate the correct solution for our client. Functionalities include end-customer data collection, call-back, pre-order registration, web forms for names and financial information, lookup from geographical data base, automatic email generation for order receipt and to sales department, etc.
Skills required include a good general technical understanding of Front End and Back End web based systems, Java, J2EE, data base knowledge Oracle, MySQL, Access, Dbase or similar; ideally some eCommerce solution knowledge, network security basics, interface to ERP systems. Good organizational and inter personal skills, an abstract thinker who is able to realize a project from end to end in shortest time effectively. German language would be an asset but not necessary for this function.
