K2 Partnering is currently looking for one of his clients for a DB2/DBA Consultant for a long term projects in a financial organisation.
- IBM Certified 5 to 8 plus years of LUW DB2 DBA experience with over all 10 plus years of IT experience.
- Extensive knowledge and work experience especially in DB2 DPF environment on OLAP - DWH
- Capable to handle end to end DB2 DBA activities including Physical and Logical Data Models, Database performance tuning, SQL tuning etc.
- Complete knowledge and adequate experience on DB2 Utilities like RUNSTATS, REORG, COMPRESSION, LOAD & other Data Movement Utilities.
- Sufficient experience on MQT, MDC and table partitioning, Strong knowledge on Db2 Database backup, Restore and Monitoring activities
- Knowledge on writing Shell Scripts respect to DBA activities. Having Netezza DBA experience is added advantage.
- German and English mandatory.
