Major IT Services Organisation seek senior Lead Project/Programme Managers to manage the design, planning and implementation of service transition activities for complex managed ICT service solutions in order to deliver high value customer solutions to agreed schedule, budget and quality
The role will cover initiation at Bid/Solution development phase through to ownership and delivery of Transition Project/Programme.
Engage with specific customers to understand and capture their service transition requirements and explain service transition capabilities. Engage with 3rd parties where appropriate to understand the contribution their service transition capabilities might make to the overall implementation. Ensure that customers' service transition requirements are clearly articulated within the bid/solutions development team and captured by the solution design activity. Validate the solution design produced and ensure that what is being proposed can actually be delivered. Develop the transition plan and ensure that the costs associated with it are captured and built into the commercial model. Validate commercial model produced.
As Owner of the programme you will plan the service transition for the solution (including but not limited to work breakdown structure, deliverables timelines, resources and funding). Identify, build and manage the necessary transition team (including interdependent core projects and 3rd party suppliers) to deliver the successful implementation of the customer solution. Deliver transitional projects and programmes in line with recognised best practice methodology: Managing risk, governance, quality assurance, issue resolution, reporting and timelines. Proactively manage all issues and risks associated with the service transition. Organise and lead regular customer meetings to provide and gather feedback, highlight risks and resolve any issues. Own the transition budget and manage expenditure.

Experience:
Deploys superior transitional project management skills in the MS space and experience of applying these at a multi-project/programme level developed within a complex business structure. Previous experience of delivering multiple complex Cloud and UCC IT Services Projects with battle scars to prove.
Qualifications:
. Bachelor's degree or global equivalent in a related field
. MSP, PRINCE2 and/or industry recognised programme management qualification
. Excellent operational, programme and presentation skills
. Personal drive, highly self-motivated and self-organized
. Excellent Team Player and ability to work in an international team
Stands toe-to-toe with the best. Recognised as accomplished Business savvy: Detailed knowledge of many business sectors. Must be prepared to travel when required
