Beschreibung
GT Retail Production is responsible for the deployment, running and production control of all bank's software and hardware landscape, operating and monitoring the run time environment while continually optimising efficiency and control.
The key objective is to focus on the priorities of the new GT Retail organisation and the integration of Postbank.
We leverage standard best-practice processes in line with the industry standard ITIL model, and pro-actively manage the bank's technology platforms to meet the service, capacity, stability and flexibility demands of our business clients, balancing the need for vertical, business-aligned services with horizontal efficiency and control.
Our aim is to deliver world class Production, through a focus on global consistency, proactive prevention, being metrics driven and business process focused.
Our objectives fall into four main categories:
GT Production:
• Full and seamless integration with the GT Production process model
• Strict adherence to all global Production process and technical standards
• One format and source for reporting according to the GT Production standards
Retail:
• Supply a service model at a retail cost structure and price point to support the Private & Business Clients' Cost Income Ratio target
• Provide fit to purpose service levels, no over or under sizing
Stability:
• Keep the environment stable while implementing the new Retail Target Platform and running organisational change
Postbank integration:
• Actively drive synergies with Postbank through integration of processes and services
• Develop a joint operational model for the future
What will I do as a Database Administrator?
You will be responsible for ensuring the successful deployment and operation of SAP Oracle infrastructure.
You will effectively manage implementation and changes to test and production environments and will perform 24/7 operations for Oracle databases.
As Database Administrator, what kind of responsibilities will I have?
Your responsibilities are:
• Support of all aspects during all phases of a major software development program
• 24/7 operations of development, test and production environments of a major application infrastructure
• Working in a team of database administrators ensuring stability and performance of an Oracle infrastructure
• Working closely together with and supporting the SAP Basis support team
• Supporting development teams in a flexible manner
Skillset
• IT operational support for all Oracle IT services based on Unix (OEL)
• Experience in SAP environments
• Special know how in Oracle 11.2
• In-depth knowledge of RAC
• Profound expertise with Dataguard
• Practical knowledge of OEL and ASM
• Understanding of enterprise information technology operations
• Methodical approach to work, with attention to detail
• Understanding the requirements of development projects
• IT qualification or relevant comparable experience
• Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and written
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team
