Aufgabenbeschreibung:
GT Retail Production is responsible for the deployment, running and production control of all bank's software and hardware landscape, operating and monitoring the run time environment while continually optimising efficiency and control.
The key objective is to focus on the priorities of the new GT Retail organisation and the integration of another bank.
We leverage standard best-practice processes in line with the industry standard ITIL model, and pro-actively manage the bank's technology platforms to meet the service, capacity, stability and flexibility demands of our business clients, balancing the need for vertical, business-aligned services with horizontal efficiency and control.
Our aim is to deliver world class Production, through a focus on global consistency, proactive prevention, being metrics driven and business process focused.
What will I do as a Service Transition Manager?
You will be responsible for ensuring the successful transition of services from project phase to normal operational support ensuring a seamless transition to allow the projects to be delivered on time and on budget.
You will effectively manage changes to project costs, agree them and highlight to the appropriate stakeholder ensuring full engagement and early awareness of any potential changes.
As Service Transition Manager, what kind of responsibilities will I have?
You are the overall contact for PM Transition relevant services and activities for projects, businesses or domains. This position is focused on the Retail Target Platform (RTP) project. Your responsibilities are:
• Drive a standard approach for new/amended application or infrastructure to move from project phase to acceptance by the GT Retail Production Service Transition team
• Effectively manage a common framework that encompasses all the requirements for a service handover and ensure – within the Bank – embedded operating model and project framework
• Prioritise project workload in line with project engagement teams to ensure focus is correct
• Develop and maintain key project relationships through project work
• Work with internal Service Operation teams to ensure SLA adherence, following project implementation or changes are highlighted and agreed
• Maintain and develop a transition approach for care and maintenance activities in line with development and support teams
• Ensure project teams include GT Retail Production team members to own the delivery of service transition for individual projects
• Support and consultancy of projects in all GT Retail Production aspects to ensure a safe passage of a service (application, infrastructure) into production.
• Delivering on all the key Bank Service Transition Management processes
Anforderungen:
• Project Management qualification or appropriate demonstrable
• Stakeholder Management
• Operational support experience
• Knowledge of the Vendor Management process
• ITIL experience (Foundation Certificate/ITIL Expert is a plus)
• Strong Customer Service and analytical skills
• Process and procedure experience (development and implementation)
• Excellent business writing, presentation and facilitation skills
• Experience of working in a fast paced changing environment
• Fluent in Technical and Business English
• Proven execution experience in one or more of the following areas:
o Development of multi tier applications
o Operating multi tier services as incident, problem or change manager
o Operating multi tier services as service operator
o transition of multi tier services
o Managing outsourced services / Service Level Management
• SAP System know how is a plus
