For one of our clients we are looking for a Business Consultant

Task Description:

• Engage with Senior Management level in the account for identifying current and future opportunities, and for building long-term relationship and thought leadership
• Lead critical Business Consulting engagements
• Adhere to targets and engagement/project execution timelines
• Identify the gaps for Consulting landscape and determine the areas where in-house capabilities exist
• Prioritize consulting segments based on attractiveness and potential for TechM to gain business
• Enable downstream opportunities for pillars like BPO, IMS, IT, Network Services and Consulting-led Offshoring Services
• Collaborate with Sales Leads and Pillar Leads to pursue and close opportunities for BPM, BPO, IMS, IT, Network Services and Consulting-led Offshoring Services
• Complete multiple customized consulting assignments




Required skills:

• Minimum 5 years (Business Analyst or Process Consultant) / 5 years (Senior Business Analyst) of diversified Telecom domain experience in an IT services / consulting services firm with exposure to Global Telecom giants, with overall 10 years of IT domain experience across industries. Prior experience working in Telecom/IT domains in consulting firms will be preferred
• Experinece in large transformation projects including experience of developing a compelling business case
• Experience in either OSS or BSS is absolutely essential for the role
• High intellect, able to comprehend complex issues rapidly and produce credible solutions
• Direct knowledge on 3 or more of the following:
1. Telecom Practice and the industry
2. Telco business strategy
3. Operational role within Telco’s
4. BSS / OSS
5. Telco business processes transformation / re-engineering
6. Telco Application Expertise
7. TAM/eTOM frameworks
8. ITIL Lifecycle experience across any phase: Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operation, Continual Service Improvement.
9. Telecom Business Consulting, IT, BPO, IMS Services
10. Outsourcing
• Excellent analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation) to interact with senior management level at client organizations
• Excellent hands-on skills on Microsoft Office applications
• Be able to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels.
• Awareness of telecom industry trends, challenges, technology adoption levels and solution landscape
• Be able to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and raise concerns/questions where appropriate
• Ability to accommodate global travel – 50% or more
- Fluency in German language/ Knowledge of Czech language
