A Senior Java Developer position has become available within a company that prides itself on being a pioneering customer experience company. This established company specializes in increasing its clients' digital standing through a range of digital media techniques. Their recipe for success has drawn market leaders from the financial, retail and travel sectors and boasts offices in three continents. This opportunity will be based in one of these global offices, in central Cologne, Germany. This role is on a temporary basis for a 3 month contract. Prior knowledge of German is preferred however this is not essential. Start date ASAP
Role Summary
A Senior Java Developer for several mobile projects. In this position you will co-operate closely with the team colleagues to be involved in multiple tasks including: design, Information Architecture and QA, in order to offer to our customers outstanding solutions.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Development of innovative applications.
- Consultation with the customers and the account and creation team regarding technical feasibility
- Work in close co-operation with the team and guarantee that your front final code can be integrated problem-free with the design
Skills
- Solid Java Development skills, ideally combined with HTML
- Web Service Technologies (eg SOAP, REST)
- Database skills (eg MySQL, Oracle)
- Mobile experience is a Nice to have, at least: interested/open towards in Mobile technologies
