electrical engineering/computer science/professional experience in the automation of test systems and/or system test/experience in the automotive sector and Embedded Systems/experience in software development is helpful/methodology for creating test cases/knowledge in the field of simulation of CAN-bus (with CANoe and CAPL programming)/knowledge in MOST/experience in testing of 3D HMI systems/experience in image analysis/high level of autonomy and disciplined way of working, teamwork/willingness to take responsibility, resilience, initiative, creativity
Responsibilities
The developed instrument clusters are for various automobile manufacturers.
The products have premium quality and are characterised by high quality, technical innovation and complexity. The development processes implement high quality standards with the aim that our clients learn to develop a reliable partner and are solution-orientated.
You'll perform System Testing on mixed instruments for the customer (AUDI). This activity is associated with the following tasks:
Analysis of the requirements of the specifications and requirements specification
Personal responsibility for creating test cases based on the requirements
Implementation of test cases into automated test instructions and test programs for system test
Personal responsibility for carrying out the tests and analysis of results
writing error messages for deviations
retesting the corrections
release of the tested functions
coordination with the ST-PM of test progress and identified problems
process of creating artifacts
The requirements for acceptance in the automotive industry is a very strong quality awareness, as may be accompanied by significant errors in the field. The mastery of project management methodology and disciplined, process-oriented approach is essential for this job.
The project staff in the test system works closely with the Project Manager for the system test project.
To test out the different software versions and the resulting variations of a customer project cost, automated test procedures are essential. For this purpose it is necessary to develop the existing concepts (camera system, testing with internal states) and new ideas and develop and incorporate gradually in all projects.
