My client is currently looking for an experienced Development Engineer (RF, FPGA)
Task Description:
Tasks:
- Definition and supervision of Layer 1 tests, focusing on RF performance
- Analysis of test results
- Simulation in Matlab/Simulink/SystemGenerator
- (Support of) Implementation of corrections and improvements in Matlab/Simulink/SystemGenerator
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge in mobile communication systems (GSM, UMTS, LTE) - focus on air interfaces
- Basic knowledge of 3GPP TS 25.104, 25.141, 36.104, 36.141 etc.
- Good knowledge in Digital Signal Processing and filter design
- Good knowledge about Xilinx Virtex FPGAs (preferred V5)
- Basic RF Know-how
- Experience in handling of instruments (eg Agilent MXA, MXG, R&S FSQ)
- Special tool know-how:
- Matlab/Simulink
- Xilinx System Generator
- Xilinx ISE - fluent in spoken and written English mandatory
- fluent in spoken and written German preferred
Necessary skills and experiences: Agilent, DSP, English, filter design, FPGA, PLD, FSQ, GSM, LTE, MATLAB/Simulink, MXA, MXG, R&S, UMTS, Xilinx ISE, Xilinx System Generator
