Task:The challenge involves design, development, testing and performance tuning of new and existing
components supporting the trading and connectivity client APIs as well as ECN market data connectivity into real-time FX trading system. High frequency model trading, automatic matching and pricing engines are all fields which the team supports and offers exposure to.
Requirements (Must have):
- The ideal candidate will be a java expert (with at least 8 years java) having proven experience of implementing globally distributed, 24/5, high-performance, high frequency, low latency systems
- A thorough understanding of messaging, multi-threading, distributed systems, efficient API design, as well as an excellent knowledge of industry best-practice are essential
- Strong and methodical analytical skills and experience of performance measurement and tuning
Nice to have:
Previous experience of any of the following skills and technologies would be an advantage:
- Real-time trading systems, FIX protocol, Foreign Exchange, ECN Connectivity
- 29 West (LBM, UME), TIBCO Rendezvous, Subversion/Git/Mercurial, KDB+/Q, R, SQL, FIX protocol
