Background
Our client is a specialist in developing advanced flight inspection systems. They develop highly specialised and complex system solutions for service providers, aircraft manufacturers, operators of special airplanes and helicopters. They are looking for an avionics engineer to join the design team for a 2 year contract.
Tasks
-Design for the modification of aircraft (rotorcraft and fixed wing). This includes the
modification or upgrade of primary aircraft, such as: electrical power, communication, navigation and flight control systems; furthermore the installation of special mission equipment, such as: Mission Systems, Flir Sensors, SAR Radar, Transponders, Direction Finder, SLAR System, Cabin Systems.
-Design of Mission Systems and equipment. This also includes System Architecture
for the mission system integration and interfaces to aircraft systems.
-Preparation of EASA certification documents.
-Planning, preparation and participation of ground and flight test.
-Technical support of production organization and maintenance organisation.
Experience/Knowledge:
-Extensive knowledge in avionic systems
-Development and preparation of aircraft wiring's.
-Installation of special mission equipment and sensors.
-Knowledge in aircraft certification.
-Configuration management.
-Perform ground and flight test.
-CAD software.
-MS Office applications.
-Applicable EASA Standards: CS 23 and CS 25, CS 27 and CS29 or FAA equivalent.
