The Job Description is as follows:
Role & Responsibilities
Key roles and responsibilities include
- Coordinating with the End Market SPOC and Application Owners
- Application Discovery which involves fetching Source media, installation instruction and test cases from the Application owner
- Perform Integration Testing using Altiris Tool
- Coordinate UAT testing and signoff
- Keep track of the changing standards and processes related to the service offered and communicate it effectively
- Ensuring Process and SLA adherence
Required Candidate Profile
(Job Requirements/Descriptions)
- 3-6 years Expertise in the area of Application Re-packaging and Deployment
- Experience in Packaging Process Automation
- Expertise in developing installation packages using one or more of the common Re-Packaging technologies - Install Shield, Wise Packaging Studio.
- Expertise in Windows Installer technology
- Ability to analyze and solve technical problems
- Knowledge of Bug Tracking tools, Package Versioning and Package Life Cycle Managing Tools
- Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Technical Skills Required
[Include languages, OS, Platform skills required]
- Proficient in Windows XP and Win 7 operating systems
- Good in technical troubleshooting and problem solving
- Proficient in Application Packaging and Deployment
- Familiarity in using VMWare and Ghost Images
- Knowledge of Remediation of compatibility issues in win 7
- Proficient in ITIL frame work
- Must have Knowledge in application Re-Packaging, Application Compatibility testing and Software Distribution
- Deployment of OS Image and Applications using Altiris will be an added advantag
