Our client are currently looking for a Group HR SAP Specialist/Project Manager for a fixed term 2 year contract based near Cologne, Germany. This role is responsible for translating business requirements across platforms for all countries in scope for a region. In addition, this role is also responsible for implementing the Global HRMS functionality in the region in line with the project plan. The Project is an SAP HCM implementation with exclusion of Payroll, Time Management and Learning Management Functionality.
An integral part of the Global HRMS project, this role is charged with reviewing all current HR systems in the region, shifting local Legacy systems towards an agreed and integrated global platform. In addition, this role will be the interface between regional HR and IT working with business stakeholders in the region to understand their needs and enable the successful execution of global HRMS solution to support the region and platforms. The ideal candidate should be able and possess/be a:
* Maintain project plans and ensure that project deliverables in each phase as achieved as per budget and timeline
* Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal
* Good influencing and relationship building skills
* An ability to balance complex requirements with a hands on role in implementation and delivery as required to plan
* A high level of self confidence to interact and communicate across a variety of levels in the business
* Strong execution focus and results oriented
* Ability to operate independently
* Ability to understand and translate business requirements and HR processes
* Time Management
* Practical, hands on person
