We are looking for WCDMA (UMTS) NodeB Software Integration Expert (m/f) for our telecommunication client in Nuremberg with the below requested skills and for the following tasks:

Tasks

  • create, adapt and enhance NodeB related test cases
  • build, download, start and debug NodeB images
  • run NodeB related end-to-end tests with (test-)mobiles and network simulators
  • use advanced analyzers (eg VSA) and software based tracing tools to get a detailed view on the system behavior
  • report issues and involve the corresponding development engineers to identify and resolve the related issues
Skills
  • test and integration experience related to WCDMA base stations
  • C/C++ experience
  • Real Time, Embedded software development, incl. unit-test and target-integration
  • WCDMA, HSPA/HSPA+ know-how in general, with main focus on NodeB, layer-1/2, NBAP, frame-protocol etc.
  • Lab & test-environment handling. eg usage of RF equipment, attenuators, fading simulators etc.
  • UNIX/Linux basics
  • Perl programming (required for network simulator test cases development)
  • Version control and bug tracking systems (user level only)
  • Development processes (both traditional and agile)
  • Quality basics
  • good English
  • open to work in an international environment
  • open minded team-player

The start will be ASAP and with the option for a permanent employment at the end-client after some time. The contractual base will be a project-related employment at Harvey Nash.
