A major semiconductor manufacturer has an urgent requirement for a Dynamics Engineer within their Mechanical Development department. As a Dynamics Engineer you will be focussed on working with Dynamic concepts for the mechanical and mechatronic division. For the successful Dynamics Engineer the work will be based in Germany and is an opportunity to work with an organisation that has a large focus on excellence within the Semiconductor industry.The role and responsibilities:
. Performing analytical/hand calculations for dynamical concepts
. Performing FEM-calculations during the design phase
. Preparation of specifications and tolerance budgets
. Modelling and simulation of actively controlled and passive systems
Ideal level of experience:
. PhD/M.S. mechanical engineering/mechatronics or equivalent
. Knowledge in dynamics of actively controlled and passive systems incl. control theory
. Knowledge in simulation tools: Matlab, NASTRAN and/or ANSYS
. Knowledge in design of mechanical components
. Basic knowledge of multibody simulation
. Proficiency in English
. Ability to work in a team environment
Candidates will need to demonstrate:
. Free movement around the European Community
. A Bachelor, Master or PhD degree within Mechanics or Mechatronics
. Excellent organisational skills accompanied with high communication skills
. Driven, ambitious and tenacious personality
. A strong background and experience in Semiconductors and Mechanical Design
