Database Developer - Backend MS SQL Server
Tasks:
- Review and improve an existing multi-tier application with a SQL Server Back End
- Responsible for all database related issues
- Logical design, physical design, performance tuning and monitoring
- Responsible to support and advice the development team for database related questions
Skills
- Proficient in implementation and configuration Microsoft SQL server 2005 databases
- Experience in analysing logical database design, development and implementation existing application
- Experience in analysing physical database design - sizing, storage, and partioning existing application
- Experience in database performance monitoring
- Experience in optimizing database performance
- Very good German and English language skills
Start date: January 2012
Location: Germany
Duration: 3 months with further option on extension, onsite Full time
