2nd,3rd line Support Job Spec - Hamburg

This company is a 500+ lawyer business litigation firm - one of the largest in the United States devoted solely to business litigation. In the past few years, this US business has expanded to include international offices in London, Tokyo, Mannheim and most recently, Moscow. We are now recruiting for a new office in Hamburg to open in early next year.

Job Description
They requires a mid level IT technician (2nd/3rd Line) to completely oversee the operations within the Hamburg office. This will entail looking after the computer/server based network, the telephone system and also handling all of the day to day support issues which arise within that office. The successful candidate will be the only IT presence in the Hamburg office and will therefore need to be self motivated, well organized and possess a high level of communication skills in both German and English. The role will entail start up of the new office and management of various projects as and when they arise. The position reports to the London office which will be on hand to offer assistance and guidance.

Skills required
-German/English language
-Microsoft Active Directory administration.
-Microsoft Exchange 2000, 2003 or 2007 administration.
-MCSE, MCP, CCNA, or other related professional certifications.
-Interwoven FileSite Document Management System administration.
-BES administration.

Requirements
-Fluent or advanced ability to read, write and speak German and English.
-Minimum 3 years Level II III support in comparable law firm/professional environment.
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly. Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize multiple, competing tasks and demands. Well organized and able to work independently without supervision. Willing to work after hours or on weekends if necessary.
Willing to be on call 24/7.
