Accountable for working with the merchant to help choose the right solution and the best partner.Planning, monitoring and ensuring delivery of the solution against the project plan.
Accountabilities (include % of time):
Solution Design–30%
• Meet and understand Merchants infrastructure and capabilities in F2f meetings, assess existing tools and make recommendations on the gaps
• Design and deliver Solution concepts in line with current best practice
• Discuss and share best practice information to aid fast, efficient, high quality and end-to-end on-boardings
• Work with Partner Manager to maintain competent well qualified Technology Partners
• Provide guidance and drive in partnering with Technology Partners
• Provide clear arguments and guidance for the delivery of a scalable solution
• Become the merchants trusted business advisor during the on boarding through networking, knowledge sharing and professional partnercommunications in order to constantly optimize existing practices within merchant organisation
• Leverage centrally created best practices, documents and all-over channel partner management framework
Project Management – 70 %
• Strong methodical approach to merchant on-boardings
• Deliver Project Planning and Delivery Documentation
• Clearly communicate timelines and milestones to all parties involved in the project
• Drive quality and compliance within the on-boarding to meet or exceed expectations of the merchant
• Provide regular status reports to all parties and escalate to the Partner Manager and Sales Lead
• Drive completion of the project on time and on budget with high quality
• Provide post-launch support if necessary Essential:
• 5+ years Project management experience with a proven track record of performance
• 5+ years experience with selling, implementing & managingeCommerce processes, technologies and supply chain management
• Expert in technical sales and solution engineering
• Understand system landscape for eCommerce solutions
• Strong communication and presentation skills at all levels both verbal and written
• Ability to build long term, productive relationships at all levels
• Good understanding of online market place
• Good understanding of detail and challenges of solution delivery
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Good influencing skills
• Rigorous management and use of customer contact data
• Proven enterprise/virtual team management
• Very structured, strong in concepts, innovative and solution oriented
Desirable:
• Detailed understanding of online auction and online money products and services
• Quality management, project management or technology certifications
• Good analytical and managerial skills
• Good understanding of partners available and technologies they provide
