Manning Global is currently looking for experienced IP & Broadband & IP TV Engineers for one of our clients, a leading International Telecommunications Company, for a position based in Germany.
The Customer Network Support (CNS) Engineer is a key role in the Customer Support organization, acting as the technical interface towards our customers and implements the complete customer support services portfolio. The CNS engineer has a deep understanding of the customer network and the customer needs.
As CNS engineer you will investigate, deliver restorations and produce solutions to customer service requests. You will investigate technical problems; participate in the Remedy of systems in case of critical situations. You will implement Software Updates or Fist Node Implementations and provide Pro-Active support services towards the customers.
You will work closely together with the Service Delivery Managers, Global and Regional support engineers and customer technical staff to secure that the customer support contracts are fulfilled and customer satisfaction is high. You will participate in projects to secure a smooth handover from project to support and to maintain and further develop your competence.
Your qualifications - IP & Broadband -
You have a broad knowledge within telecom and datacom, covering hardware, software and network knowledge. You have a technical background in IP, SmartEdge, Packet Core and interested to broaden your knowledge on network level. You enjoy working with customers and people from around the world and across various disciples. You are self-motivated; customer focused with the drive to solve problems, support our customers business and expand your knowledge.
Your qualifications - IP TV -
You have a broad knowledge within telecom and datacom, covering hardware, software and network knowledge. You have a technical background in IPTV and interested to broaden your knowledge on network level. You enjoy working with customers and people from around the world and across various disciples. You are self-motivated; customer focused with the drive to solve problems, support our customers business and expand your knowledge.
You should also have
A bachelor of Science in IT, telecom or equivalent plus at least 4 years telco experience
Experience with technical troubleshooting
Excellent communication skills
ACA strong drive for operational excellence
Good written and spoken English and German
