On behalf of our client, a major and fast growing Telecom company, Manning Global Group is currently looking a number of experienced Customer Network Support Engineers (IMS) – based in Düsseldorf/Backnang, Germany, for one of our leading Telecoms client.
Main Responsibilities:
The Customer Network Support (CNS) Engineer is a key role in the Customer Support organization, acting as the technical interface towards our customers and implements the complete customer support services portfolio.
• As a key role in the Customer Support area, you should act as the technical interface towards our customers and implements the complete customer support services portfolio.
• A deep understanding of the customer network and the customer needs.
• Investigate, deliver restorations and produce solutions to customer service requests.
• Investigate technical problems; participate in the remedy of systems in case of critical situations.
• Implement Software Updates or Fist Node Implementations and provide Pro-Active support services towards the customers.
• Work closely together with the Service Delivery Managers, Global and Regional support engineers and customer technical staff to secure that the customer support contracts are fulfilled and customer satisfaction is high.
• Participate in projects to secure a smooth handover from project to support and to maintain and further develop your competence.
Qualifications:
• A bachelor of Science in IT, telecom or equivalent plus at least 4 years of telecommunication experience
• Experience with technical troubleshooting
• Broad knowledge within telecom and datacom, covering hardware, software and network knowledge.
• Technical background in IMS and interested to broaden your knowledge on network level.
• Use to working with customers and people from around the world and across various disciples.
• Self-motivated; customer focused with the drive to solve problems, support our customers business and expand your knowledge.
• Good written and spoken English and German
