Our client is a world-leading provider of telecommunications equipment and related services to mobile and fixed network operators globally. Over 1,000 networks in more than 175 countries utilize our network equipment and 40 percent of all mobile calls are made through our systems.

In order to support the Customer Support Team in Düsseldorf or Stuttgart, we are looking for a

Customer Network Support (CNS) Engineer (m/f) - IMS -

The Customer Network Support (CNS) Engineer is a key role in the Customer Support organization, acting as the technical interface towards our customers and implements the complete customer support services portfolio. The CNS engineer has a deep understanding of the customer network and the customer needs.

As CNS engineer you will investigate, deliver restorations and produce solutions to customer service requests. You will investigate technical problems; participate in the Remedy of systems in case of critical situations. You will implement Software Updates or Fist Node Implementations and provide Pro-Active support services towards the customers. You will work closely together with the Service Delivery Managers, Global and Regional support engineers and customer technical staff to secure that the customer support contracts are fulfilled and customer satisfaction is high. You will participate in projects to secure a smooth handover from project to support and to maintain and further develop your competence.

Your qualifications

You have a broad knowledge within telecom and datacom, covering hardware, software and network knowledge. You have a technical background in IMS and interested to broaden your knowledge on network level. You enjoy working with customers and people from around the world and across various disciples. You are self-motivated; customer focused with the drive to solve problems, support our customers business and expand your knowledge. You should also have

A bachelor of Science in IT, telecom or equivalent plus at least 4 years of telecommunication experience

Experience with technical troubleshooting

Excellent communication skills

A strong drive for operational excellence

Good written and spoken English and German
