IT Database Administrator - SQL - Legal
Our client a leading Law firm are currently recruiting for a IT Database Administrator - SQL to be based in there offices in Berlin.
Technical Specification:
The successful applicant will have extensive knowledge and experience in:-
Accounting applications which are commonly in use at Law firms such as Elite (essential), ARCS
and Carpe Diem.
Experienced with implementation projects
Budgeting applications such as Cognos Budgeting.
It would also be useful for the DBA to also have experience in billing and reporting applications such
as the Whitehill Billing System, Microsoft Reporting Services and Crystal Reports.
Experience in HTML, XML, and VB.NET, ASP.NET would also be useful as the role includes a fair
amount of development work in conjunction with the Practice's Intranet system.
The successful applicant will also have previous experience of:-
Installing, maintaining, and upgrading SQL 2000 Servers in a Microsoft based environment.
You will have used SQL query language extensively and understand its application and use at an
advanced level.
In depth knowledge of SQL Server 2005, SQL (Server 2008 an advantage) for legal/accounting
and others systems.
Previous experience in supporting and maintaining a medium-large size firm's accounting systems.
