For our project Education User Management we are looking for a Solution Architect:
The goal of the project is to improve the user registration and identification process for users who want to book learning events like E-learning etc. either via the web interface or by utilizing a sales Back End employee by utilizing functionality of the SAP IDM(Identity Management). The current process is too cumbersome and often takes too long preventing the customer to immediately consume the booked training.
The TO BE solution utilizes applications and systems of different layers of the SAP system architecture and the data flow between these components like web interface Front End , internal SAP Learning solution, other internal ERP systems (WLP, ILP, ISP) and Identity Management (IDM).
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Coordination of the different design and development teams from Global IT, IDM and Tangent Labs
- Taking the ownership of technical solution concept and drive technical alignment with internal stakeholders
- Review and finalizing of the Technical Blueprint
- Designing and elaborating a Technical Concept integrating the sub-concepts of IDM, Education and Tangent
- Support in estimating the effort for implementation based on approved Technical Design
- Coordinating the implementation (development, test, cut-over, go-live, support) from technical perspective
- Act as technical point of contact for the project and support internal Q-Gate approval processes
- Ensure sustainability of the solution to minimize support efforts once operational.
- Support analysis of potentially impacted areas out of scope of this project (eg adaptation needs of reporting, other business processes like booking enhancements)
- Foreign language: Fluent in English (spoken & written) business fluent
Additional know-how:
- Multi Project Management
- Ability to understand and design cross application systems in complex SAP system architecture
- Profound experience with end-to-end SAP ERP implementations
- Experience with ERP master data (namely Customer Master)
- Experience in SAP Learning Solution (LSO) or Identity Management would be a benefit Experience with working with virtual teams
- Experience in leading small development teams as technical project lead
- Experience in working with virtual teams
