Tasks
Power subsystem engineering of a project for development and integration of a geostationary satellite.
In charge of the definition and development of the power subsystem including definition of the
verification philosophy on subsystem level and specification of test requirements
Co-ordination with system level via the avionics technical responsible of the project
Management of subcontractors and hardware suppliers, for which you will be supported by the
subcontractor management organisation within the project
Overall responsibility for all power related project activities, ensuring technical quality as well as
schedule and budget compliance on subsystem level
Leading a group of power project engineers
Direct reporting to the project avionics technical responsible.
Key Skills
You have a degree in electrical engineering, space technology, physics or a comparable qualification. You have of professional experience in space industry or in space projects as electrical power subsystem engineer, power project engineer or in similar technical position. AIT project experience would be of advantage. Ideally, you have worked on DLR/ESA or commercial satellite development projects.
You are accustomed to work in teams. Furthermore you have well-developed communication skills and excellent conceptual and analytical skills.
Fluency in the English language is required, German would be an asset.
