Currently we are searching for one candidate who is able to cover the following position:Project description:
Internet Services 3rd level support
Tasks:
the Internet Services 3rd level support will maintain and manage our basic and special Internet Services which includes:
- SMTP backbone infrastructures including R/3 mail connectivity
- DMZ Internet Services infrastructure for SMTP mail, proxy and external DMZ DNS
- News Server, List Server, Public FTP, SAPDAV, SAPmats, Webcams
- SAP mail LDAP service
- centralized administration, monitoring and reporting for all the Internet Services
together with team of experts performing different activities, including:
- conduct backup/disaster recovery processes
- 3rd level support on SMTP backbone, including troubleshooting and maintaining Q&A
- maintaining and debugging on SMTP Infrastructure
- implement change requests on our infrastructure
- maintaining operation process (by regular process review, document update)
- implement design changes
- part of on-call duty on 7x24 operation
- monitoring processes and pre-alert handling
- hardware monitoring and support
- Part of Incident management processes
Must-Have Skills:
expert knowledge in:
- Unix/Linux command line tools
- SMTP
good knowledge in:
- GNU/Linux OS
- TCP/IP + SSL, HTTP + DAV, DNS
- Postfix, Apache, , OpenLDAP,
- OpenSSL, ssh, cyrus
- Perl
knowledge in:
- Solaris 10 OS
- PGP, NNTP, HTML+CSS, IMAP+POP3, LDAP
- GNU Mailman, Berkeley DB, zabbix, rrdtool, inn, squid
- CGI scripts, C/C++, bash
Nice-to-Have Skills:
experience in working in virtual teams, with people of other cultures
Softskills:
ability to think conceptually, focus on goals, plan and organize, make good decisions and judgments
detail-oriented
able to find information on your own and self-schedule your workday
willingness to work on odd hours (teleconference meetings can occur anytime 24/5)
