ON behalf of our high profile telecoms client, I am looking for a Physical Layer Test Consultant to work a fixed term contract in Nuremberg, Germany.
Job description:
Creation of LTE Physical Layer Test Scripts according 3GPP and Ericsson internal Standards
Physical Layer Test Case Development and Execution
Using algorithm simulator as a reference in the testing
Using Physical Layer test equipment (signal generator, logic analyzer and network simulators)
Required competence:
* Experience from Digital Signal Processing and algorithm simulation
* Experience with physical layer test on mobile or network side
* Minimum Bachelor of Science or similar degree in relevant Telecommunication/Engineering field
* Knowledge of LTE/UMTS/WCDMA/HSDPA/EUL or WLAN standards in the physical layer
* Knowledge of protocol software (Physical Layer) and RF characteristics
* Experience with systematic low-level test concepts and test execution
° Programming experience from C/C++ and Perl
