For one of our clients we are looking for a Technical Platform ManagerTask Description:For an application outsourcing project at a government agency in the area of Nuremberg, a large web application based on J2EE will be implemented. The application consists of more than 100 user interfaces and offers complex business functionalities.Main task:"Technical Platform Manager" is an experienced software developer that is skilled in technical architectures for high-scalable and
failsafe systems as well as the design and implementation of mission critical and high-performance systems. The technical platform manager will support the architecture manager and lead technical platform team with the conceptualisation and development of improvements to the existing VerBIS and JOBBÖRSE systems.
The platform team is responsible for the Oracle Weblogic Server and the underlying Oracle Database i.t.o. data migration according to requirements of application release, performance tuning of SQL-statements, performance tuning of database, manage lifecycle of RDBMS (planning, defining test strategy etc.) feasibility studiesRequired skills: Experience in following functional/industry skills:* Leading and management of teams (5 members +)
* Coordinating system lifecycle activities
* Intoducing standard activities for platform lifecycle changes
* Status reporting
Experience in following technical skills:* Application Lifecycle Management
* SOA
* Oracle database
* Oracle WLS
* Jrockit JVM
