For one of our clients we are looking for a Project Manager – SAP ECC 6 Upgrade.Main Task:
· Act as SPOC and coordinate the activities of the ERP upgrade project both with Customer & Hardware vendor with ability to answer any technical questions from both
· Upgrade Project Planning: Support in Customer overall project planning and perform the following tasks in consultation with customer team:
o Planning the milestones
o Planning the activities and resources
o Defining an upgrade strategy for the technical upgrade process
o Creating a detailed project plan
o Detailed Planning the go-live date
o Project cost tracking
o Hardware vendor Coordination
· Project reviews at a minimum twice per month including:
o Project situations, including dependant milestones
o Plans for future IT Infrastructure
o Application and modification adjustment
o Test plans
Required skills:
· Technical background (SAP BASIS) is preferred
· Estimating hardware requirements, performance tuning and timing optimization methods
· Excellent Project Management skills – includes planning, coordination, tracking & reporting
· Good interpersonal & team management skills – project involves multiple stakeholders
· Customer Handling ability – exposure to working in Europe & Multi vendor scenario is useful
· PMP / Prince 2 Certified preferred.
· Should have managed at least two SAP ECC Upgrade engagements as onsite PM
· Proficient in German & English
