Für unseren Kunden suchen wir Experten für folgende vakante Projektposition:

Senior Advanced Launch Manager, Global Supply Management

• Oversee Supplier Development Engineering (SDE) to ensure Supplier APQP process participation, via APQP kick off and ongoing APQP status reviews. Ensure Supplier documentation is received on time and is compliant to DS requirements. This includes, but is not limited to, Process Flow Charts, Control Plans, Design FMEA's, Process FMEA's Drawing Change Requests, evidence of APQP progression, etc.
• Manage all commercial relations with the Supply Base including Security Agreements, Electronic Request For Quotes, Quotation Analysis, Negotiations, Supplier Selection and Supplier Nomination, Prototype/Production Procurement, Contract Development and Annual Improvement Factor (AIF)
• Select and develop highest value Suppliers including consideration of Suppliers Manufacturing capabilities/capacity, financial condition and Sales/Engineering knowledge and support. Facilitate Supplier and DS Engineering collaboration to assure best Design For Manufacture (DFM) designs
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regional and worldwide economic conditions and business situations, particularly within the global automotive industry, that impact Drivetrain products
• Manage risk and protect corporate interests through knowledge of contract law and its applications. Implement and be compliant with all civil and corporate legal requirements. Involve legal counsel as appropriate
• Develop expertise in factors relevant to Drivetrain Products such as product knowledge, applications / usage, processing knowledge, cost structure, global market, supplier capabilities, supplier market share, supplier benchmarking, etc
• Work as part of cross-functional SEG Teams from multiple Drivetrain disciplines (Product Engineers, SDE Engineers, Materials/Scheduling Managers, Manufacturing Supervisors, Sales Program Management, Design Release Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers/Managers, etc.) as means of managing all commodities included in assigned new program launches
• Strive to achieve minimum 5% contractual annual material cost reduction from external Suppliers for a minimum of three years and 1.5% annual material cost reduction for internal Suppliers for a minimum of three years for each new product on a new launch program
• Execute assigned tasks, strategies and directives of the Director, Global Supply Management in a timely and satisfactory manner
• Actively pursue new Supplier technologies (process and/or design) that support Cost Reduction Initiatives and the advancement of Client's Product Leadership/Innovation position. These technologies should augment the competitive differentiation of Client in the marketplace
• Negotiate and implement Supplier Agreements as appropriate
• Represent and assist other ALM's, GCM's, GSM Managers and/or SDE Engineers with GSM activity as required
• Provide guidance and training/development of new ALM's and support staff regarding GSM systems, procedures and strategies
• Coordinate and facilitate Supplier VE/VA functions
• Work with Drivetrain Cost Estimating and Engineering in support of quotation process for critical component Suppliers during Cost Estimating phase
• Coordinate leveraging of production Suppliers to support prototype components as early as possible
• Occasional travel to Suppliers (domestic and international) for Supplier Assessments, Production Readiness, Problem Solving, VE/VA and general Supplier Development opportunities for increasing value to Client. Travel tends to be greater during Supplier selection/approval process.
• GSM Launch Management - Managing all commodities of a program while assuring program is on time / on budget.
• Enter Engineering Change Requests (ECR) information into system as needed, as well as processing Supplier Change Requests (SCR) as required
