For our customer, an inter-governmental organisation located in Darmstadt/Germany we are looking for an Oracle UCM Engineer.
Candidates must have a passport of an EU member state or a valid work permit for Germany
TASKS
- Operate, administer and maintain the document management system based on Oracle UCM 11g including WebLogic Server and related Oracle technologies,
- Implement patches and bug fixes to Oracle UCM including system configuration and client deployment packages,
- Provide user and technical support, including hands-on troubleshooting and coaching,
- Develop and deliver training on the document management system to end users.
- Implement, install, test and deploy new systems/solutions or enhancements to existing systems,
- Re-design and re-implementation as needed, following the full development cycle,
- Support the customer acceptance and roll-out phases and support subsequent pilot and operational phases,
- Perform the related quality assurance, configuration and change management activities,
- Document tasks and deliverables according to working practices,
- Contribute to project planning and reporting.
PROFILE
The Consultant shall have as a prerequisite:
- Extensive experience with Oracle UCM 10gR3/11g in the areas of Document Management and Web Content Management,
- Experience in support, operations and maintenance of WebLogic 11g,
- Experience in Oracle UCM 10gR3/11g and Weblogic 11g installation on a Windows 2008 Server,
- Cluster configurations, Single Sign On, Content Server APIs, Services, Components, Filters and Content Tracker,
- Knowledge of and experience with SQL and Java,
- Highly self motivated with a high level of autonomy
- Ability to apply initiative and creativity in the execution of tasks,
- Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills,
- Willingness to learn,
- Able to work as part of a team and displaying a strong customer-oriented approach.
In addition to the above requirements, experience/knowledge in any of the following areas shall be considered a distinct advantage:
- Development and implementation of Oracle UCM 10gR3/11g solutions, including Content Server APIs, Services, Components and Filters,
- Installation and configuration of Oracle UCM workflow, Oracle BPEL workflow and digital signatures,
- Deployments of Oracle Secure Enterprise Search, WebCenter Spaces, secure web access,
- Good understanding of document management principles and the related requirements,
- A university degree in computer science, software engineering or similar.
The working language for the tasks and responsibilities is English. A working knowledge of French would be an advantage, but not essential.
