Supply Chain Implementation Consultant

For our client in Duisburg we are looking for a Supply Chain Implementation Consultant.

The Project is a European rollout of a business solution for a big restaurant. This business solution implies Demand and Supply Planning, and use of the commercial softwares JDA and Manugistics.

The main tasks will be:
- Data Analysis
- Intake As
- Is Process
- Definition of to
- Be Processe
- Training of Key Users in Demand and Supply
- Parametrisation of the system
- Implementing of the solution for pilot phase (1-10 stores)
- Monitoring during the rollout (>10 stores)
- Readjustment of the solution

Required skills:

Fundamental knowledge of Supply Chain processes, especially on the fast moving supply chain in the consumer goods area
Experience with Supply Chain implementation or migration projects
Ability to analyse business processes
Ability to analyse mass data (eg historical sales, stocks, usages)
Ability to analyse master data and support planners to define valid planning structures
Ability to define the country specific setup for demand and supply planning
Ability to train users on iOPS demand planning and iOPS supply planning following some rough iOPS guidelines Supporting the customers in setting up planning structures within the iOPS solution
Execute module testing and leading user acceptance tests
Ability to take over the responsibility of leading work packages
Ability of preparing and providing training to key users
Ability of preparing and providing presentations and solution demonstrations
Giving 2nd level support for the implemented supply chain solution

On top of that the candidate should provide:

An university degree in natural science, mathematics, business economics, logistics or IT business
Willingness and flexibility to travel and work temporarily in all European countries (average 40% of working time)
If possible some years experience in supply chain area
Knowledge of general implementation procedures

Nice to Have :

Experience with commercial advance planning system (eg Manugistics/JDA, I2, etc.)
Fundamental demand and supply planning knowledge
Skills in the methodology of business process documentations and tools (eg VISIO, URL, BPMN)
Methodology of project handling (eg Prince 2)
SQL knowledge
Language: fluently English (optimal other European languages)

Project Language : Fluent English, Nice to Have German
Start : Janaury 2012
Duration : long term project (around 3 yrs). First contract will be 3 months with option of extension.
