System Integration/Debuggers - 2G, 3G, Protocol Stack, C, C++ - Wireless Arena
Our client is a world leading designer and manufacturer of wireless chipsets. They are looking for a talented and proactive engineer to join the system integration and debugging team. In this role you will be responsible for the integration of new functionality and features onto mobile phone platforms/chipsets and derived customer products.
This role will comprise:
- Reproduction and debugging of system issues through appropriate low level debug tools such as, tracer, HW debuggers, logic analysers and oscilloscopes.
- Optimisation of the system with regard to CPU load, power consumption, connectivity bandwidth and memory footprint.
- contribute to system design with solutions, system related data, reviews.
The successful candidate will need the following skills and experience:
- 2G and 3G protocol stack knowledge
- C, C++ and Assembler
- Debugging experience
- Debugging tools
- RTOS
- Embedded systems HW
- Experience with Clearcase is essential
