Desktop/Infrastructure Support Analyst - urgently required to work in Frankfurt, Germany on a contract or permanent basis.
You will be responsible for BAU 2nd Line infrastructure support. Escalation and timely resolution of Incident/Problems/Requests, IT and Network security, LAN/WAN, IP Telephony, Backup Systems, Global Remote Support, Support of standard/third party desktop software, Problem management, Liaising with and managing third party suppliers whose products interface, Laptop Build and enhancements, Software upgrades, Implementation of new projects, systems and services, Conduct regular review of systems, procedures and controls.
The ideal candidate will have excellent troubleshooting skills to rapidly resolve complex technical problems; Highly proficient in 2ND/3RDLine support, installation, configuration and maintenance of Microsoft Vista. It is essential that the candidate has knowledge of Core Desktop Technologies: Active Directory Services, Microsoft Office 2007, Blackberry BES Server, knowledge of ITIL Frameworks, Anti-virus solutions (Forefront, Symantec), BES Administration, LAN/WAN Technologies, Backups (DPM and CommVault). Exposure to Cisco IP Telephony and Call Manager. Knowledge of Dell Hardware. MCP/MCSE/MCDST qualification would be a distinct advantage
