My client, a Market Leading Telecoms Company, is currently looking for a Software Designer, specifically for Device Drivers, who has a proven background within software design and preferably telecoms. This is a fantastic contract opportunity to work for a Telecoms Market Leader in a much desired location.
Within this role you would be responsible for:
- Design and implementation of device driver SW modules
- Module testing and pre-integration tests
- Analysis of customer requirements and change requests
- SW development for both internal and external devices
Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate knowledge and working background in the following:
- Embedded systems know how eg ARM Controllers
- SW Development on UART, 12C, DMA and MMU
- Real Time operating systems knowledge
- Understanding of the SW development life cycle
- Debugging tools (lauterbach Emulator)
- Programming languages C/C++ and CM Tools (Clearcase)
