Baseband Support Engineer - GSM, EDGE, UMTS - Contract - Germany
A global telecommunications company is currently recruiting for a talented baseband engineer with first class communication skills for a long term contract opportunity based in Germany
You will be responsible for supporting external customers and customer support teams during product design, hardware implementation and product ramp-up.
Essential Skills
- Basic telecommunications background, knowledge of GSM/EDGE, UMTS and LTE
- Several years experience in schematic design/digital hardware design with relevant design tools
- Good knowledge and experience of measurement equipment (eg logic analysers)
- Ability to develop extensions for current designs and find pragmatic solutions to be realised in customer project
- Excellent communication skills in English are essential for this position
