Our telecoms client in Nuremberg is looking for a System Integration PA2 engineer to work a long term contract.
Job description:
- Integration of SW modules on various HW platforms and systems
- Defining, implementing and execution of system integration tests
- Writing of release documentation
- Cooperation with Design and System Engineering Teams locally and cross-site
- Debugging (Lauterbach Debugger), analysis and test of integrated systems
- Run quality checks using Lint and Coverity Prevent
Required competence:
- Minimum B.Sc. degree or similar qualifications in telecommunications, computer science or other relevant area
- Experience with SW integration for Embedded systems
- Skills in Configuration Management (CM) Tools as ClearCase and SW build systems (Make structures)
- Experience with testing against test networks and network simulators
- Programming in Scripting languages (eg Perl, Python) and C/C++
- Knowledge in the areas of Quality Assurance, SW Development Processes and Project Management
- Basic knowledge in the fields of GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/eHSPA/LTE
- Very good communication skills and open minded
- Knowledge of SDE, CME, FIDO is a plus
