On behalf of our high profile telecoms client, I am looking for Software Designer for Device Drivers to fulfil a long term contract opportunity in Nuremberg, Germany.
Job description:
- Design and implementation of device driver SW modules
- Module testing and pre-integration tests
- Analysis of customer requirements and change requests
Required competence:
- Minimum Bachelor of Science or similar degree in a relevant SW engineering field
- Embedded systems know how eg on ARM controllers
- Experience with SW development for internal and external devices eg UART, I2C, DMA, MMU
- Real Time operating systems knowledge (basic)
- Understanding of the software development life cycle
- Experience in debugging tools (eg. Lauterbach Emulator)
- Programming languages C/C++ and knowledge of CM Tools (ClearCase)
- Open Minded and self-driven personality, good interpersonal communication skills
