maintain SAP Basis and their respective databases as well as all usedSAP components, e.g. SAP Java, TREX, SAP BW/BI, SAP SCM with live cache and optimizer
analyze performance issues on the customer side and deliver solutions to customers
resolve 2nd level incidents on 24/7 basis and solve problems speedily; document the measures in the respective tool
implement additional services (e.g. SAP support packages, database upgrades, SAP client copy / transport / deletion, restore and recovery of SAP databases, ?) for SAP systems o identify, discuss and implement any necessary tuning measures for SAP Basis and database
Type of experience: At least 10 years solid working knowledge of SAP Basis and the underlying databases (ORACLE database) This expertise covers the
structure of SAP systems and ORACLE
structure of SAP Java systems
operating systems AIX and Linux (RHEL)
installation skill of different SAP versions and ORACLE on Linux
upgrade of SAP and ORACLE databases
implementation of SAP support packages, ORACLE patches and SAP kernel patches
knowledge of all SAP tools or SAP transactions used for the operations of SAP systems and their respective databases
SAP Transport Management System
SAP Basis, SAP BI/BW and SAP SCM/APO operations
