For our client a international known company we are looking for a Civil works Manager (m/f) located in Düsseldorf.Your assignment will be:
Review and approve proposals (e.g. for towers, monopoles, antenna mounting structures, etc)
- Check site specific structural design analysis submitted by subcontractors
- Assess structural design consultants for their capability and capacity
- collect and estimate the site design to provide civil work construction cost
- Review and approve the design and material list (BOQ, Bill of the Quantity) of the tower reinforcement and minimize the construction cost of the tower reinforcement
- Supervise and support the site design engineer in region
- Conduct the site inspection and field survey as a structural estimator
- Meeting with customers and partners
The following knowledges makes you more interessting:
- A minimum 10 years experience in site design of the telecoms industry, for example due to working for a Design Consultancy, Equipment Vendor or Operator
- Familiar with the civil work programs (e.g. SAP 2000, ETABS, StaadPro,MSTower, PCA or other SW)
- Proficient in survey tools such as AUTOCAD, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Familiar with the industrial standard of the steel structure in the telecoms industry such like DIN (Deutsche Industrie Normen) =(German Industry Standard)and ENS (Europaeische Norms)=(Europe Standard)
- An excellent understanding of towers, mon-pole and all antenna support structures
- Extensive experience in concrete or reinforced concrete of tower foundation, familiar with electrical design according to the local standard
- Fluent English and German
