Software Engineer - Germany - HMI - GPU - Assembler/C++

Our client, one of the largest electronic companies in the world is looking for Software Engineers with good Embedded experience to join their team. German language is NOT a pre-requisite, so applicants with good English language skills are welcome.

This is a contract opportunity and as such, will not be available for long - leading hourly rates are offered as well strong possibility of extension.

Job content:

  • Support and maintain 2D/3D graphics driver stack
  • Contribute with graphics knowledge to the device development by eg benchmark of graphics IP (eg GPU)
  • Strong contribution to setting up strategic cooperation with leading HMI content generation tool suppliers from technical side (eg support, optimization, demo development)
  • Technical design in for graphics devices, eg concept studies, benchmarks, demo developments
  • Evaluate and analyze 3rd party HMI content generation tools

Your profile:

  • Graduate in computer science or electrical engineering
  • Strong programming skills in C, C++ and Assembler
  • Experience with at least one Embedded OS (OSEK, ITRON, T-Kernel, Linux, WinCE, QNX or similar)
  • Graphics application development skills with at least one graphics library (OpenVG, OpenGL-ES, emWIN, PEG or similar)
  • Experience with HMI design tools
  • Experience with 3rd party Middleware integration (eg OS, Graphics Driver, Network Stacks, etc.)
  • 5+ years of industry development experience with Embedded product development
  • Experience with customer contacts and customer presentations
  • German language skills would be advantageous, but not required
