System Integration & Debug Engineer Clearcase - C++ - 2G/3G engineer
A fantastic contract has become available for an experienced Embedded engineer to work within a talented integration team for a world leading Smart phone & Tablet chip-set design and development company in Germany.
40-52EUR - 12 Months (extension likely)
It is essential that the candidate has previous experience of the process of integration of new functionalities and features onto mobile phone platforms/chip-sets derived from customer products.
Expected Tasks
- Reproducing and debugging of system issues by means of appropriate low level debug tools (eg tracer, HW debuggers, oscilloscopes, logic analysers)
- Optimisation of the system with regard to CPU load, power consumption, connectivity bandwidth, memory footprint
- Contribute to system design with solutions, system related data, reviews
Skills Required
- 2G & 3G Protocol Stack
- C, C++, Assembler
- Embedded systems HW (ARM cores, memory, peripherals, DMA, cache, MMU, etc/schematics reading)
- Working knowledge on ClearCase
- Debugging (problem reproducing, debug info generation, issue root identification)
- Debugging tools (Lauterbach specifically, tracers, oscilloscopes, multimeters)
- RTOS
