Software Test Engineer needed, with experience in C programming language, currently needed by a financial institution based in Frankfurt. Your Tasks/Responsibilities will be: Application development in the Central Counterparty (CCP) area, Implementation, review and testing of software modules based on, problem ticket analysis or functional specification document(s). Qualifications/Required Skills: Good analytical skills to understand functional requirements, Good communications skills and a good command of English are a must, Knowledge of programming language C, Experience of software development and deployment in large projects. Any of the following will be considered a plus but it's not needed: Knowledge of Central Counterparty Operations or of Clearing and Settlement processing, Experience in reviewing Functional Specifications and translating them into Software Design, Experience of software development in C-OpenVMS-Oracle RDB Architecture, Knowledge in XML, FIXML, Java, Shell/Script-Programming (eg PERL). This is a long-term contract position initially until the end of 2012 with extension beyond that. Excellent rates paid
