Our client is a medium-sized progressive company located in the region of Stuttgart and provides unique test systems to leading companies across the globe. We are recruiting at the earliest convenience a "SW Configuration Manager (m/f)" who support a planned evaluation.Tasks:
- Support the evaluation: Which are the advantages of a migration from Clearcase to a new SCM-tool for our clients (SW) development department. This includes potential process changes within their branching and build strategy. Goal is to have at the end of the evaluation a small working prototype with the future SCM-tool
- Select new tool (if advantages are sufficient) and migrate to new tool.
Requirements:
- Source configuration management skill (preferred Perforce, Git, Mercurial)
- Experience in migration from Clearcase to one of the above mentioned SCM
- Operating system Linux
- Component based development
- Experience in large systems (5+ Mio lines of code)
- programming experience in Java, perl, python, Ruby
- Optional: Jira, Eclipse
Personal Requirements:
- Basic German knowledge advantageous
- Good communication skills
- Team oriented
- Good analytical thinking
- English
