Our client is currently looking for a pSeries/AIX system admin (m/f) for a project in Frankfurt/Main.Task description
* Admin of IBM pSeries systems and ensure the operating of these systems in a datacenter environment
* Planning and implementation of IT concepts aligned to customer requirements
* Frame Management, Firmware upgrades
* Virtualization, VIO server configuration
* Support of the environment, oncall, weekend work
Skills
* LPAR virtualization (Power5, Power6, Power7), LPM, Etherchannel
* HMC
* VIO OS
* AIX 5.x, 6.x
* NIM Server
* Networks (VNetworking, Vswitches)
* Cluster (PowerHA, VCS)
* SAN, VSCSI, NPIV (HDS, EMC)
* Monitoring
Nice to have:
* Experience in financial institutions
* LDAP/Kerberos
* Perl, shell skripting
Required language(s): english and german both written and verbal
Location: Frankfurt/Main
Duration: Start asap, duration 6 months (extension optional)
