The senior Test Manager in the role of a Central Test Manager manages the internal test process regarding costs, time schedule, quality and internal resources.
Test processes will be performed based on and adhering to industrial standards and methods for testing (especially ISTQB amongst others).
Test case execution and test data generation will be performed manually, supported by use of automated test tools and scripts, if feasible.
It is expected that the test coverage during the functional / non functional and regression test phase will be improved. Together with the customer´s project management and the local test managers, the CTM will define a number of requirements, for which a 100 % test coverage must be ensured (safety relevant requirements, legal requirements).
Coordination and Planning of various test activities (defect management, test case creation, handling of test environment, etc.), to ensure the timely delivery of test results needed for the next test levels, of individual test teams and the provider of the tested software based on the detailed test plan that has been created before within the project.
Examination and quality assurance of the test cases appropriate to the
requirements and conditions defined before.
Providing the guidelines and structures needed for the test reporting process and coordinating the process itself adverse the project management.
This means in particular the observation of milestones and the delivery of information as well as test results, concerning to the respective checkpoints of the test plan to the project management
Coordination of the defect management process in between the provider and the individual test team manager just as other internal contact persons (i.e. system interfaces).
Coordination and steering of the information flow amongst the test team manager, the central test team manager and the project management.
Coordination and decision making on changes to the test plan or guidelines, open issues and other obstacles that may come up during the testing, effecting the test progress and with that the test plan in collaboration with the project management. The defined test coordination activities including their confirmed tasks, input documents / output results, methods and standards, roles and responsibilities have to be followed. Changes need an agreement with the customer.
· Input documents resp. output results have to align with templates and standards of our customer. Experiences with test management documentation and is able to deliver ideas to improve the customer’s documentation templates and standards, this could be an additional option.
· Resources and processes shall meet ISO 9000:2005, ISO / TS 16949:2002, ISO 20000, ISO 27001, ITIL and ISTBQ conformity In general the CTM candidate shall offer
· a maximum of flexibility and reliability
· a minimum of investment required for process integration, maintenance and cost
· a high test process performance
· a high availability and quality of test support results

Expertise in using test tools is required for:
· HP-QualityCenter (mandatory)
· HP-QuickTestPro
· HP-LoadRunner
