A European Renewable Energy organisation requires a Document Control Manager (German speaking) for their offshore wind farm projects in Germany. The company dedicates themselves to generating energy out of wind, biomass and biogas. Their unit is also committed to the development of emerging technologies such as PV, geothermal and wave energy.For their German Offshore wind department they have 2 projects in development and are looking to bring aboard a Document Control Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to help build, support and standardize the units approach to Document Management.
Responsibilities:
. Implementation and Configuration of Project Documentation and Communication System ThinkProject
Support and Training of staff with all tasks related to the ThinkProject system
. Training and support of contractors (including webex, phonecalls etc.)
. Further development of the system together with the central team in Düsseldorf
. Sharing Best practice and lessons learnt with other client projects
. Development of designation systems for documentation linked to the upcoming O&M Phase (RDS-PP, Common File System)
. Defining and implementing Processes and workflows for document management (handover documentation etc.)
. Creation of templates
Requirements:
. Effective communication and presentations skills
. Database experience
. Knowledge of designation systems (KKS, RDS-PP)
. Capable to work independently
. Technical background would be an advantage
. Sound MS Office skills
. Strong track record of delivery in complex project type organizations
. Power of Persuasion
. Cultural awareness
. German and English speaking
