For our customer from the travel industry we are looking for several analysts to set up a new project.The project should to establish the possibility to sell customer products through all sales channels using a front office product and two server systems.
Tasks:
- Support in finalizing the Specifications (main skills are related to Production definition role) and to support in implementing the required software based on the specifications.
- As the interface between Product Management and Development, Product Definition's responsibility is to describe required functionality in detail and cooperate with Development to help them implement new features
- Profound analysis and definition of rules regarding CRS data and its usage within the product
- Maintenance and quality assurance of database content (no programming)
- Testing
- Documentation
Skills:
- OOA/D (Rational Rose)
- Programming languages: C++ and/or Java, Perl
- Software development environment: Eclipse, Visual C++ Studio, MKS, Mercurial, Ant)
- Knowledge about Tourism & Leisure Market and Tour Operator processes
- Excellent knowledge about business analysis and requirements management methodology
- Standard business processes of travel industry players
- Proficient writer of requirements specifications and user documentation
- Highly developed communication skills
- Highly developed analytical skills
- Knowledge of Management Information Systems and Data Warehousing
- Quality Assurance
Start: January 2012
Duration: 6 MM++
Location: near Frankfurt (homebase) and south of France (max. 2 times during project)
Project language is English/German, documentation will be done in English
