Project Manager - Germany - Contract
Our client is looking for excellent Project Managers for an urgent project to start immediately, the location for this opportunity is flexible - with sites across Germany.
A strong and seasoned technical background is preferred, but not a pre-requisite, so applications from Project Managers with a limited technical background will be considered, in addition a knowledge of the German language is NOT required as English is the working language.
Permanent staff will also be considered, making this a perfect opportunity for anybody looking for Project Management roles in Germany.
Your tasks and responsibilities will include:
Management of Development Projects/Programs of Analog/Mixed Signal ICs for automotive applications, starting from acquisition support and project setup to transfer of the IC into production includes:
- Support of Sales in acquisitions with effort, resource requirement and project schedule estimations, support of commercial project evaluations
- Project planning in terms of tasks, resources, budget planning,
- Budget responsibility, project schedule responsibility, risk analysis and management
- Leadership and coordination of multi-site, cross-cultural development team and supporting functions including resource coordination
- Project tracking, reporting and documentation
- Direct customer communication, central entry point for customers during development phase
Required Skills/Experience:
- Proven experience and skills in managing development projects, preferably based on a project management certification
- High team-leading and communicational skills paired with high organizational skills
- Willingness to take responsibility for budget and performance
- Customer service attitude paired with strong customer handling skills
- Goal and solution orientation based on high analytical and interpersonal skills
- Good communication and presentation skills in English
- Bachelor with focus on Electrical or Communications Engineering, Electronics or Microelectronics, Microtechnology
Desired additional experience:
Knowledge or Experience in Project Management for automotive applications and customers
Base Knowledge about ICs Technology and Design
